Yellow
The curves are so graceful and the shades are subtle.

Tree on Bridge
Sometimes an image is not composition or exposure settings or some artsy juxtaposition. Sometimes it is just the subject. This old abandoned bridge over the South Tyger River does in fact have a tree growing out of it. It was just so odd that I had to get closer and that is how I managed to see the image I call Bridges from 1 June 2006. Nikon D70 & Nikkor 24-120mm at 24mm, 1/200s, f7.1, & ISO 400

Stamen
Mama really loves her daylilies and I really wish I had a real macro lens.

Bird in Tree
I was killing time on my cousin’s porch taking humming bird pics. Instead of hovering as the fed, they just sat there. I was underwhelmed. Then they would dart over to this Japanese maple and then I had something.

Bridges
A couple times a week, I drive around at lunch looking for interesting photos. I’ve driven across this bridge near Reidville numerous times when I considered taking the bridge and its predecessor. Once upon a time, traffic flowed across the graceful arches of the old bridge. Now it cruises on the modern replacement. Makes a nice contrast I think.
