Great Blue Heron
His coloring is great camouflage against the marsh mud. This was a nice morning for birds on the Pitt Street bridge.

Harbor Sunset
Clouds usually add to a sunset. I like how the rays poke through the clouds in this one over Charleston harbor.

Big Bird
I saw this Great Egret (ardea alba) near Sullivan’s Island yesterday. These birds live up to 23 years and can be up to 41 inches tall.

Sine Wave
It was about dusk on a beautiful football Saturday. My camera was set up for the motion blur shots of the game. My buddy pointed out a flight of Canadian geese over the treetops. I took a shot, but forgot I had the motion blur settings. When I realized my mistake, I figured I had another file for the bit bucket. When I got back home I noticed the sine wave made by wings of the geese. Even digital photography can be like a box of chocolates.

The QB for Edward Waters set up for a pass in this motion blur. By the way, NGU beat EWU, 48 to 19.
