The Village
This is the village where we worked. We set up a medical & dental clinic and saw aver 500 patients. The weather reminds me a lot of South Carolina in August. Most afternoons the heat and moisture would form clouds and we'd have a downpour.

On the beach
A few weeks ago I was in Brazil on a trip with my church to minister to folks on the Amazon River. I was able to take a good many portraits of kids and their parents. This young man's family lived in a house boat tied up at a sand bar on the river. Nikon D70 & Nikkor 18-200 at 180mm, 1/250s, f5.6, & ISO 640

Orange Camouflage
Yes, I understand its a bit of an oxymoron. But if you were the Gulf Fritillary butterfly with the job of pollinating these orange flowers without getting eaten by a bird, I think orange would be your color.

Cattle Egret
I am at the First Coast Birding & Nature Festival in St Augustine. There are an amazing number of birds & photographers here. I took this at the St Augustine Alligator Farm. The name sounds kind touristy, but they have a rookery as well. We could get to within a couple feet of some nests. (Bubulcus ibis)
