Today’s race provided lots of opportunities for people watching, but there were many feet hitting the pavement.

Half court

Taking shots of the players taking shots was very challenging. Many times they’d throw, I’d shoot, and the ball would be out of the frame. I have a new appreciation for sports photographers.

Fast Break

The weather has been cold & wet lately, but inside there are lots of photo ops. Church league basketball gives me a great opportunity to work on panning & blurred motion. It reminds me of a cartoon character winding up before they take off.
