We had a severe drought this winter and the Waccamaw River swamp was pretty dry. You could walk many places that would normally require a boat. Did you ever notice how cypress trees are larger at the base then narrow to the normal trunk size? A forester friend of mine gave me the technical term for this condition... butt swell. A good many humans have this condition too. ;-o

Great, great photo! I love the blur.
I'm drawn to abstracts that use motion blur. This is exceptional. I love what you've done with this cypress grove.
